About Me

My photo
Hello Beautiful, my name is Salina and I have a confession. I am in LOVE with Makeup!! Although I am not a professional makeup artist, I am a freelance makeup artist. I absolutely love making people look and feel beautiful. Although beauty is not what is on the outside but truthfully is whats on the inside. I've decided to start a blog to help those in need with easy to do beauty tips. Playing with makeup is definitely not difficult all it takes is inspiration and imagination. The sky is truthfully the limit!

Update on L'Oreal Lash Boosting Serum and My Interview with Ulta/Mini Haul (Again)

Hello my Beauties,

So I'm back update with how the L'Oreal Lash Boosting Serum. So far I have been using this product for about a week now, and I haven't seen much of a change. No I take that back, I have seen a little change. Before I started using this product, I would always lose an eyelash or two when I rub my eyes or when I am washing my face. But now, I haven't had any fall outs. Like what's on the package it says it helps strengthen your lashes and that is true so far. So I'm going to keep using this and I'll keep you guys posted!

On the other hand, I had an interview with Ulta today. And it went great!! It wasn't a long interview as I expected though. But the manager told me that she had 2 more interviews and she should be getting back to me within this coming week!! I got to meet with the hiring manager and also the store's assistant manager. And before I left this guy named Dennis asked my how my interview with. I said to myself how did he know I had an interview, I didn't really talk to anyone when I walked in. I'm gonna take that as a good sign. So I hope she calls me soon cuz I am super excited!!!!

So after my interview, of course I walked around the store for a bit to see what I can get my hands on. I thought to myself since the Lash Boosting Serum is working pretty well, I wanted to see if the Double Extend Lash Boosting Mascara would work too. When I went to go check it out, last 2 on the shelf. And it was still 2 for $10. So I grabbed it! LoL. There was another product that I wanted to try and it is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eyeliner. The reason I wanted to try this product is because MAC's fluidlines are not working the way they use to work on me. It use to never budge on my eyes, now it doesn't stay like before. So I hope this Tarte one works, I'll let you guys know if it does or not.

Well, until next time my lovelies, hopefully some good news soon!! Either you love me or hate me. Stay Beautiful!

Mini Haul

Hello Beautiful People!!!

So Friday, I went to MAC and Ulta and gave them my resume. Now you know me, if I walk into a makeup store, I am not walking out empty handed!!! So from MAC, I got a lip pencil in Naked and the new Ever Hip Lipstick that just came out from their new Fashion Flower collection. It is a very pretty coral color, perfect for spring!!!

From Ulta, I had my reward I needed to redeem anyways so I picked up the Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss in Peony Pivoine. It’s such a pretty pinky coral color with little gold shimmers. Perfect with my new MAC lipstick. I also got a crease blending brush from Urban Decay. Then when I was standing in line to check out, I was looking at the products beside me and something caught my eye. I saw the L’Oreal Lash Booting Serum on sale 2 for $10. And I was wanting to try something to help my lashes grow but it was way expensive and I was ify. But because it was on sale I was like what the hey Imma give em a try.

So be sure to keep an eye out, I’m gonna keep you guys up to date with this product to see if it really works or not. So until next time, follow me! Either you hate me or love me! Stay Beautiful!!!

I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

Hello my Beautiful followers!!

I know, I know I’ve been MIA for a looooooooooooooong time!!! There just been soooooo much that has been going on this couple month that I just didn’t have the time or the motivation to do anything!!

At the beginning of April I lost one of the strongest woman in my life. My Great Grandmother. She lived a long and happy life. She will be missed terribly.

But there was not a lot of sadness in the month of April. There was a BIG birthday celebration for two of our closes friends more like like family, Linda and Franky. We went down to ATL and PARTIED!!!! We partied hard!! It was the most fun I have had in a looooong time. And to tell you the truth, I needed it.
But I just wanted to let all my followers know that I AM BACK!! Ready to do reviews, blogs, you name it I’ll do it!!

So keep following me folks!! Either you love me or hate me. Stay Beautiful!

My Skincare Routine

Hello my Lovelies,

This is my skincare routine that I would like to share with everyone. First I am going to list all the products that I use and then you how I use them. I am not telling you that this is what you have to buy or what you need to use. This is my personal preference and is what works for me. Now I am highly allergic to anything that has benzo peroxide in it. So it is very hard for me to find any type of product. What might work for me might not work for you.
  •  MAC wipes
  • Clarisonic
  • Purity Facial Cleanser
  • Dr. Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief:
  • Face Cleanser
  • Advanced Face Serum
  • Face Lotion
  • Plantidote Face Mask
  • Origins Spot Remover
  • Origins Brighter By Nature Pads
  • IQQU Acne Serum
  • IQQU Jasmine Rice Scrub
  • MAC Fast Response Eye Cream
I am going to start with my routine for the AM. Every morning I start the day off with Dr. Weil for Origins Face Cleanser. I first wet my face and use about a dime size of the cleanser and massage it on my face. I massage it for about a minute, then I rinse it off with warm water. I then pat my face dry. After I wash my face I take a pump of the Advanced Face Serum and about a pea size of the IQQU Acne Serum. I warm it in the palm of my hands and then pat the product onto my face. I let the serum sit on my face for about 5 minutes then I use the Dr. Weil for Origins Face Lotion. Follow my MAC Fast Response Eye Cream. Now If I was going to put on my makeup I would usually wait about 30-45 minutes before I put anything else on my face. That was my face has time to absorb everything.

Now for my PM is a little different. I follow the same step as I do in the AM, but with a few other products also. Now if I had makeup on all day, I first would use my MAC wipes to wipe all the makeup that is on my face. Then I will use my Purity Facial Cleanser with my Clarisonic to make sure that all the makeup is completely gone. After I do that then I will follow in with the Dr. Weil for Origins and my eye cream like I do in the AM.

Once a week, on Wednesdays, I will use my IQQU Jasmine Rice Scrub. Using a scrub once a week helps you remove dead skin cells off your face. Making your face really smooth, do not use a scrub more than 2 times a week. Using it more than 2 times a week may dry out your skin. Mondays and Fridays, I will use the Plantidote face mask. I would leave it on for about 10 mins then wash it off and continue with my regular routine. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will use the Origins Brighter By Nature Pads to help lighten up the dark spots and old acne scars that I have. Now for them days that I need an extra help with a blemish, I will spot treat it with the Origins Spot Remover.

Now like I said before, I am not telling you that this is what you need to do. I know it might seem like alot of work but in the end it will pay off. So this is what I do and what works for me.I wished I would have found out about Origins earlier in life, but hey I finally found something. I have experimented with a lot of products before I found out what really works for me. Now if anyone finds something good and does not have benzo peroxide in it leave me a comment and let me know so I can go and check out the products. So until next time my lovelies, either you hate me or love me. Stay beautiful!
