My Skincare Routine

Hello my Lovelies,

This is my skincare routine that I would like to share with everyone. First I am going to list all the products that I use and then you how I use them. I am not telling you that this is what you have to buy or what you need to use. This is my personal preference and is what works for me. Now I am highly allergic to anything that has benzo peroxide in it. So it is very hard for me to find any type of product. What might work for me might not work for you.
  •  MAC wipes
  • Clarisonic
  • Purity Facial Cleanser
  • Dr. Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief:
  • Face Cleanser
  • Advanced Face Serum
  • Face Lotion
  • Plantidote Face Mask
  • Origins Spot Remover
  • Origins Brighter By Nature Pads
  • IQQU Acne Serum
  • IQQU Jasmine Rice Scrub
  • MAC Fast Response Eye Cream
I am going to start with my routine for the AM. Every morning I start the day off with Dr. Weil for Origins Face Cleanser. I first wet my face and use about a dime size of the cleanser and massage it on my face. I massage it for about a minute, then I rinse it off with warm water. I then pat my face dry. After I wash my face I take a pump of the Advanced Face Serum and about a pea size of the IQQU Acne Serum. I warm it in the palm of my hands and then pat the product onto my face. I let the serum sit on my face for about 5 minutes then I use the Dr. Weil for Origins Face Lotion. Follow my MAC Fast Response Eye Cream. Now If I was going to put on my makeup I would usually wait about 30-45 minutes before I put anything else on my face. That was my face has time to absorb everything.

Now for my PM is a little different. I follow the same step as I do in the AM, but with a few other products also. Now if I had makeup on all day, I first would use my MAC wipes to wipe all the makeup that is on my face. Then I will use my Purity Facial Cleanser with my Clarisonic to make sure that all the makeup is completely gone. After I do that then I will follow in with the Dr. Weil for Origins and my eye cream like I do in the AM.

Once a week, on Wednesdays, I will use my IQQU Jasmine Rice Scrub. Using a scrub once a week helps you remove dead skin cells off your face. Making your face really smooth, do not use a scrub more than 2 times a week. Using it more than 2 times a week may dry out your skin. Mondays and Fridays, I will use the Plantidote face mask. I would leave it on for about 10 mins then wash it off and continue with my regular routine. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will use the Origins Brighter By Nature Pads to help lighten up the dark spots and old acne scars that I have. Now for them days that I need an extra help with a blemish, I will spot treat it with the Origins Spot Remover.

Now like I said before, I am not telling you that this is what you need to do. I know it might seem like alot of work but in the end it will pay off. So this is what I do and what works for me.I wished I would have found out about Origins earlier in life, but hey I finally found something. I have experimented with a lot of products before I found out what really works for me. Now if anyone finds something good and does not have benzo peroxide in it leave me a comment and let me know so I can go and check out the products. So until next time my lovelies, either you hate me or love me. Stay beautiful!

Weekend Recap!

Waddup Everybody!!!

So here’s a recap for over the weekend! I had one heck of a weekend though I tell you that! I had a friend come down from Michigan Friday night, which was super exciting because I haven’t seen her in YEARS! This awesome girl was Thaa! The last time I saw her was about 5-6 years ago. It was a long awaited reunion I tell you that! The reason she came down was because her boyfriend’s break dancing crew 61Syx were coming down to compete at Bashville. So definitely I already knew they were gonna stay at my place no questions asked! I personally met 3 of their crew members Keegan Seoul, which was Thaa’s boyfriend, along with Raze and Gnat. They are AWESOME! Oh and I can never forget my new little sister Sara. Another makeup fanatic like ME!!

They arrived at my place at about 12:30ish Friday night. And you know how we do it down south we had a house full of peeps ready to greet em and food ready to get our grub on!As usually Kaylie makes a new friend, the whole night she was stuck on Thaa’s side. And you know Sam, when he found out they were breakers he wanted a show. So the guys actually put on a little show for us in my living room. Dude it was soo exciting. I can’t say it enough that they are AWESOME! We took a couple of shots, enough to get me a little drunk and went to sleep late as heck, and I knew Saturday was gonna be one hectic day. I had the Underdog’s volleyball tournament in the 9 in morning and 61Syx’s competition later that night.
So Saturday morning, I am not gonna lie I was dragging to get up early. Erwin was sick all morning. Actually all day! First thing when Kaylie woke up, she got dressed, ran outside and started to mess with Keegan and his friends. She LOVED messing with Keegan the most, she wouldn’t leave him alone. So when we finally made it to the volleyball tournament, we already missed the Underdogs play. It was ok though. The guys put on a little performance for us. The guys left to go meet up with the rest of the crew so that they could go over their routines. I felt bad that Erwin was so sick so I took his butt home. I made him and Kaylie BOTH take a nap. Lol. When he got up he felt better so that was good.

We wanted to surprise Keegan and his friends by showing up at the competition to show our support so I dropped Kaylie off to my mom. When we got there we missed their first performance, but it was all gravy cuz they made it to top 16. By that time I had a whole crowd there to support them! It was awesome! They made to top 4! They lost to one of their idols and it was all good because they were top 4 out of 60 something crews that were competing. GO 61SYX!!

We all came back to my place chilled and drink for a bit and then knocked out! Man I was pooped! They all left at about 11ish Sunday morning and I was so freaking sad! I didn’t want them to leave! I wish that we all lived closer! So if any of you guys live up north, near Michigan, be sure to check out 61Syx! They are the SHIT! I have a new mission on hand and that is to go up north to visit and check out what’s good up there.

Later on that day, Sam called us to go over and do a cookout. I’m not gonna lie I was still pooped! I just wanted to sleep all day, but I got up because it was a beautiful day outside! I didn’t just want to lay around all day. Ok I lied I did want to lay around. Lol. When we got over there the guys went to the store to get some stuff to cookout. Me, Linda and Gucci ended up playing volleyball outside just bumping it around. It was fun, I haven’t played in forever. Joe went out and bought 2 kites so we were flying kites and playing volleyball. Man, dude to Sam and Linda not having a level backyard, I done rolled around the ground. Later that night when I was sitting, I looked at my wrist and realized that I must have busted a blood vessel or 2. It didn’t hurt at first, but later that night it was swollen then the pain came along with it.

They guys later decided to go bowling that night. So that’s where we ended up..BOWLING! I’m gonna tell you know, I SUCK at bowling!! But it was all good it was all for fun!

So I woke up this morning I am so freaking SORE! It’s my sign to start playing volleyball more often I tell you that! Well until next time! Either yall love me or hate me! Stay Beautiful!

MAC Kissable Lipcolour

Hey Guys!!

I am about to RAVE on my new favorite lip products. I am freaking in LOVE with them that I am going to have to go and get me a whole bunch of backups because these were limited edition. I am talking about MACs Kissable Lipcolour. These came out with the Peacocky collection that I missed out on and I kinda wished I didn’t but luckily the MAC counter that I usually go to still had some.

To describe this product I would have to say, if a lipstick and a lipgloss got married and had babies. This is it! Because it to me basically feel like a lipstick in a tube. It’s creamy and not to glossy, which I like. The colors are much pigmented, that you don’t even need to apply much at all. And the fact that it is one product, it’s even better. Especially when I am out and about needing a touch up I don’t have to pull out a lipstick and a lipgloss.

The colors include:
  • Enchantée Light blue pink
  • Exxxhibitionist Red-toned coral
  • Flaunting It Grey mauve
  • Love Peck Blackened blood red
  • Peacocky Sky blue with red pearl
  • Scandelicious Blue fuchsia
  • So Vain Muted dirty coral
  • Strut Your Stuff Bright true red
  • Super Muted neutral brown
  • Temper Tantra Mid-tone reddish brown
  • Vanity Fair Mid-tone blue pink
  • Woo Me Light pinky nude

So these were about $18 a piece and i was debating on should I or should I not. So I first got Woo Me and Vanity fair, those 2 had me SOLD! I had to go get a couple more colors try. Now I only bought 6 of the12 colors because I just only got the ones that suited me the most. I am definitely going back to get me couple more that way I will have a backup. Because like I said these are a limited edition. I wish that MAC would make them a permanent that way I wouldn’t have to worry about running out. So if you guys are able to get your hands on any of them I suggest that you try them for yourself, because I am absolutely in LOVE with them. So until next my love, either you hate me or love me. Stay Beautiful!!

UNII Palettes!!

Hey Love!

I received a package in the mail today!!!! 0o0o0o…it’s so exciting when I get packages in the mail! I LOVE it! It feels like Christmas!!

I got 5 UNII Palettes in the mail today! I am so excited! I got the color Snow, which is a white one, Coal, which is a black one, Twilight, a blue one, Pomegranate a redish one and Lemongrass a yellow one. These palettes are very durable, unlike the MAC palettes which are a little flimsy. It is hard to travel around with the MAC palettes because your products can be potentially get destroyed. With the UNII palettes I feel like I won’t have that problem. I can custom the palette with the products that I might need to touch up with for a day and don’t have to be worried about it being jumbled in my purse and get damaged.

Each palettes are very nicely packaged. When you look at your package. There's a sticker with the color of the palette on the outside. When you open it up, there is a little about the history of the palette and how it got started. A how to care for your palette and instructions on how to depot your makeup. All the palettes comes with a sheet of magnets. So if you wanted to depot your favorite eyeshadows and stick a magnet on the back and easily place it in your UNII palette. There is also a little thumb grip, which I think is very neat.

This palette was originally created by Korean woman who was having trouble traveling with all her makeup due to having a lot of her makeup pans different sizes and shapes. She wanted to mainly have one palette instead of hauling around a lot of different palettes. You can get these palettes at www.uniicosmetics.com

So definitely check out these palettes. I believe that they are a very good investment. I will definitely hold a contest, not sure what type yet. So when I figure it out I will definitely let you guys know. I will be giving one of these palettes away. So definitely look out for that contest!

EXTREME COLLECTIVE HAUL!!

Hey Dolls!

So..I went SHOPPING!!! And got a whole bunch of goodies.! So like I said before, I haven't been out shopping in a loooooong time so I finally got the chance and boy oh boy did I miss out on alot, especially at MAC. I missed out on the Peacocky collection and the Champale collection. I didn't miss the Wonder Woman though because I had a plan for that one. LOL. The Peacocky and the Champale was the collection that came out before the Wonder Woman, that I was really saving for. So I had a budget and couldn't get much of anything else.

So this is a collective haul that I have done for over a month from the middle of January til last Friday. Keep in mind I did not spend this all in one day! I would have been bankrupted! I will try to have a picture of my collective buyings at the bottom. I am not trying to brag either ok, so I do not need all that hating stuff going on. Some people buy video games, well I buy makeup.

  • With that been said, lets get started!!! First things first..Target! Who doesn't love Target? I got a couple of these cute little buckets from the dollar section, I got about 10 of them 5 white and 5 pink ones. They are absolutely adorable! I am currently using them to store my brushes, all my eye and lip pencils and a whole bunch of other stuff. Target also had a sale on their acrylic storage containers, the ones with sections. Which is perfect to store makeup in. I got a bread box, this cute metal one and in it, I'm storing my straightener and my 4 in 1 curling iron. I got 2 Revlon creme palettes, just to try them out. One in Wild Orchids and one in Precious Metals. I will do a review on them later. I got 2 Revlon nail polishes, one in Gold Coin and one in Grape. And lastly a Revlon tweezers, it has a led light on it and it's pretty awesome.

  • Second, Walmart! I didn't go that wild at Walmart I just got 3 nail polishes 2 from Pure Ice and 2 from Rimmel. From Rimmel, i got Pink Bliss and Black Satin. And from Pure Ice, I got one in Spit Fire, which is my current favorite on top of Pink Bliss and one in Cheatin. A HIP Color Chrome Eyeliner in Silver Lightening. A new EOS Cucumber Hand lotion. The Revlon Color Stay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black. And a NYC Smooch Proof 16H Lip Stain in Endless Spice.

  • Third, Sally's Beauty Supplies, They were having a sale on their Palladio cosmetics, it was buy 2 get one free. So I got 3 Palladio Herbal Foundation Primer. I heard that it was a dupe for the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, so I had to get it and try it. I also got 3 Palladio Rice Paper Blotting sheets. They also had a sale on the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. You buy the top coat and you get the base for free. I got 2 sets of those. I love the Seche Vite top and base coat.

  • Forth, Dillards. I went  there for the Estee Lauder counter to get my new favorite foundation, the Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body. I also recieved a free gift set with my purchase which contains Pure Color eyeshadow duo, the Soft Clean Tender Creme Cleanser, Silky Hydrating Lotion, the Reliience Lift Extreme and 2 lipsticks, Pink Parfait and Beige.

  • I did stop at Barnes and Noble, I got 2 books. Kevyn Aucoin's, Making Faces and Bobbi Brown's Makeup Manual For Everyone from beginning to Pro.
  • My next haul is Sephora, I got a couple stuff from Makeup Forever. A MUFE Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector, 2 MUFE Aqua Creme in #12 and in #13. And a MUFE HD Complexion Travel Kit. I got the Hello Kitty Charmmy Kohl Eyeliner Kit. It's super cute! 2 nail polishes in Access 24/7 and I'm Wired. I also got my boo a Calvin Klein Cologne.

  • Then from Origins. I just recently changed my new skincare routine. I have been on a mission to find a skincare product that works for me. I have super sensitive skin and I am severely allergic to benzo peroxide which is in almost alot of skincare regimens. I got a sample of the Origins skincare stuff and I was trying it out for a couple of days now and it has been working for me. None of their products contain benzo peroxide so I was in luck. I loved how the sample worked and decided to buy the regular size of the products. I am using the Dr Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief. I got the face cleanser, the advanced face serum and the face lotion. I also bought the Origins Spot Remover and the Brighter By Nature from the original collection. I will do an updated skincare routine later.

  • Next, I went to Ulta. I got 3 of the new Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Shadow Pencil in Morphine, Clash and Sin. Ulta was having a special on that if you spend $25 dollars you get 3 free deluxe size sample a Stardust eyeshadow in Retrograde and 2 lipgloss in Wallflower and Midnight Cowboy. I got a couple things from NYX also. 2 eyeshadows, one in My Favorite Color and one in Highlight. 3 glitters in Sparkling, Disco Ball and Gold. 3 pearl pigments in Turquoise Pearl, White Pearl and Mink Pearl. A jumbo eye pencil in Black Bean. A Soft Matte Lip Creme in Antwerp. 2 nail polishes from Rimmel, Midnight Blue and Marine Blue I also got 2 lipsticks in Red Passion and in Spotlight Beige. A nail polish from Orly in Pink Whisper. A Purity facial cleanser. 2 Revlon Color Stay Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black. A Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Pink Sugar. 4 LA Splash liquid eyeliner in Twilight Zone, Teal Mania, Perfect Storm and Purple Tide. From Maybelline, the new One by One Mascara in Very Black and the Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner. Lastly from Ulta the 5 NYC Blushable Creme Sticks, Pink Plaza, Big Apple Blush, South St. Seashell, Mauvin' Uptown and Urban Spice. I don't usually buy alot from Ulta unless there was a sale. So more than likely everything was on sale!

  • I also went to Forever 21 and I got this adorable manicure set and this beautiful translucent pressed powder. I was really sold by the packaging mostly.

  • Lastly..MAC! I'm gonna start with the MAC Wonder Woman Collection. I got the 2 mineralize skinfinish in Pink Power and Golden Lariat. 2 blushes in Mighty Aphrodite and Amazon Princess. An eyeshadow palette in Defiance. 2 lipsticks in Marquise d' and Spitfire. 2 lipglosses Emancipation and Athena's kiss. That's all that I got from the collection. 6 kissable lipcolour, Woo Me, So Vain, Vanity Fair, Enchantee, Exxxhibitionist, and Strut Your Stuff. A Chromagraphic pencil in NC15/NW20, an eye kohl in I Get No Kick, creme colour base in Fawtastic, a powder blush in Blunt, 2 fluidlines in Waveline and Dipdown. The Lady Gaga 2 lipstick and lipgloss. A lipstick in High Tea, 2 super supreme lipsticks in Behave Yourself and Full Speed. 1 eyeshadow in Steamy, 2 mega metal eyeshadows in Peek-At-You and Paparazz-She. The Caviar Dreams eyeshadow quad, a mineralize skinfinish natural in medium and a mineralize skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. Lastly the Fast Response Eye Cream, a mixing medium, brush cleanser and makeup wipes. The lady at the MAC counter was kind enough so give me some face charts. She gave me like half the pack!! It was very nice of her.

WOW! That was alot of hauling I did. Like I said before, I did not buy all these products all in one day. It just all added up and I figure I would share what I have been collecting all together. Believe me I will not be going back out for about another 3 months lol. Be sure you keep an eye out and follow my blogs for more reviews, hauls and beauty tips! If you guys are wanting a review on any particular products, please feel free to leave a comment and I will dedicate a review just for you! So until next time my love, either you love me or hate me! Stay Beautiful!

Brushes I Cannot Live Without

My Brushes that I Cannot Live Without:

These are a couple of brushes and products that I have to have when I’m doing my usual makeup routine. I have to admit I have a TON of brushes. And to tell you the truth I do not use all of them. A couple of these brushes I do have more than one. So I usually would separate my personal brushes from the brushes I use for friends and clients.

STARTING WITH MY FACE BRUSHES (in no particular order):

·         FOUNDATION: there are 3 products that I usually reach for. For my liquid foundation I love using my Beauty Blender, it’s an egg shaped sponge that has to be used damped,  my Sigma SS190 or my Sigma F80. It is perfect for perfectly blending your foundation. Sonia Kashuck at Target has a similar sponge that is cheaper version.  And for my cream foundation I use my Sigma F80 which is perfect for buffing it in.

·         POWDER/SETTING POWDER: for all over powder I would have to say my Sigma SS150, my Kabuki brush or sometimes even my powder puff.

·         BRONZER/CONTOUR:  I always reach for either my Sigma SS168 or my Sigma F82.

·         BLUSH: So for my blush, when I am using powder blush I use my MAC 109 or my MAC 168. I absolutely love that brush for powder blushes. For cream blushes I use my IQQU brush.

·         HIGHLIGHTING: for highlighting my face and my brow bone I sometimes use a big blending brush from image essentials that is probably one for my first brushes I ever owned. And I personally cannot believe I still have it. I love this brush and I don’t know what I would do without it.

NOW FOR MY EYE BRUSHES:

·         ALL OVER EYESHADOW: I always reach for either my MAC 239 or the MAC 242. Perfect for packing on an all over eyelid color.

·         CREASE COLOR:  for my crease color, I use the MAC 224. And to depend my crease color I either use my Sigma SS219 pencil brush or my Smashbox definer brush #15.

·         BLENDING EYESHADOWS: to blend the eyeshadows I use my Image Essential Blending brush, my Sigma SS224 or the Sigma E25.

·         EYEBROWS: there’s 3 brushes I use for my eyebrows. Depends on what type of look I am going for. For an everyday look I use either the Anastasia brush or my MAC 266. For a more dramatic look I use my Sigma SS266.

·         EYELINER: if I am using my fluidline eyeliner I most always will grab my MAC 209 brush. For my water line I would use my Smashbox Smudger Brush to smudge out my liner.

So these are all just my personal preferences.  This is what works for me. You do not have to use exactly what I use. Use what you are comfortable with. And to tell you the truth your hands are really the best tool of all. They are there for a reason. Use them!

So until next time my beauties, either you love me or hate me. Stay Beautiful! :)

NYC Blushable Creme Sticks Review

Hi Beautifuls,

I am not usually into creme blushes. But I ran into Ulta one day and saw the NYC Blushable Creme Sticks on sale for $1.99. I remember watching YouTube, a couple of gurus were raving how awesome these blushes are. So I decided to give them a try. Since they were on sale at Ulta for just $1.99, I decided to get all of the colors. They have a permanent collection which consist of 6 colors. I got 5 out of the 6 colors, because that's all that they had. I have Pink Plaza, Big Apple Blush, South St. Seashell, Mauvin' Uptown and Urban Spice. The one that I don't Have is Berry New Yorker. Then there is the limited edition collection, Pink Flash and Wild Berry. For a drug store brand creme blush, I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE these blushes. The NYC blushes at the drugstores would usually cost about $3.99, still super cheap and a very good quality.

What I would do is I would  do is, my usual foundation, sometimes I will use that more darker brownish color Urban Spice as a contour and set Nars Laguna right on top and use either Pink Plaza or Big Apple Blush and set it with either MAC's Mighty Aphrodite or Nars Orgasm.

So for about $3.99, these NYC Blushable Creme Sticks are definitely a GREAT quality creme blush. They are travel friendly and believe it or not they last ALL day if you set it. So if you haven't given these blushes a try, definitely head out there and try them.

So until next time, either you love me or hate me. Stay beautiful!

I Found a New Foundation

Hello my Loves,

I have been MIA, once again and I apologize. I just have so much on my plate lately. But I am here now and I want to share with you guys my new find. This is my new Holy Grail!

So for my usual everyday foundation I would use my MAC Studio Fix Fluid or my Makeup Forever HD foundation. I usually alternate between the 2. With the Makeup Forever HD, I can still see my imperfections even when I use concealers with it. Same with the MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I have alot of blemishes and a couple of acne scars that I HATE! And nothing has been really covering them up. But I am now using the Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body with SPF 15. WOW! That was a mouthful. But this is now my Holy Grail. I don't even need any extra concealer for my blemishes and I don't have to set this foundation with powder. I still set it with a powder because I'm just use to it. To me this foundation is light enough for me to wear it everyday. It doesn't even take much to cover my whole face. I have been using this foundation for about a month now. This foundation has even helped with my acne problems and blemishes. My blemishes has seemed to lightened up and they are not as dark as they were before. Now this is a full coverage foundation and it is also waterproof. When I say waterproof, it's waterproof. It will not come off unless you use makeup remover. So if you have the same problems as me with blemishes and acne scars, you might want to give this foundation a try. Because I absolutely LOVE it!

So until next time my loves. Stay beautiful!

Recap of Last Night

What's up people!! Long time again. Lol. Been super busy. So I decided to do a little update for you guys. Well, yesterday was my big brother's Sam's birthday. His wifey Linda a planned a little surprise for him for when he got off work. Well, he called her about 3 and was like I'm getting off work now. There goes the surprise! There is really no surprise between them. It always gets ruined one way or another. Imma get them one year though for sure and neither of them will know about it, lol. We got there problem around 6 or 7ish, cars everywhere, like OMG. This is a Thursday night and people still gotta work in the morning. Well, my boo does anyways. As soon as we got there, I was greeted by Linda, Sam's mom and auntie with a bottle of Crown. Oh lord, I thought to myself. What have I got myself into for coming on a Thursday night. At about 9, we all were WAY to CRUNK! Laughing my ass off. Heard a little, ok alot of way too much information. Then we got to a point where we were dancing to Laos and Thai music and me and Linda was getting down with the old folks!! ahahahaha. Then Sam's sister Aly came over with the karaoke machine. It was OV from there on! Oh I forgot to mention the cake fight we had! LMAO. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. Well, I had to get out of there by 12 because my boo had to be up at 5 in the morning and Sam and Linda had to pack for FL. So until next weekend when they get back, we will continue. The party is not yet over! So Happy Birthday yo my Big Brother Sam! Love ya bro!
